Swap It- Beauty

I not really into beauty trends, but I really wanted that CHANEL colour Particuliere but not the Chanel price tag, I spotted the shade Marron Glace by Mavala which looked very similar unfortunately it seemed to be sold out everywhere I went. At Christmas I saw the shade in a pack but the pack cost £30 for six shades and 1 topcoat. In January the pack was reduced to £20 still too much I thought for one shade. Finally this week after having enough of my LA Colours and still not finding the shade as a single, I purchased it for £13.50. Marron Glace is a great colour match to Particuliere, it does require 2 coats and 2 coats of topcoat to last 3 days. In the Mavala pack their was also New York a lighter version of CHANEL Black Velvet, Mexico (good colour match to CHANEL Paradoxol). Lagoon was not in the pack but it looks a good colour match to CHANEL Nouvelle Vogue and can be purchased online in a 3 pack with Marron Glace and Elle at £9.95 from www.feelunique.co.uk

Next colour Crush Black Pearl
This blog has a review of this shade http://www.alllacqueredup.com/2010/10/chanel-spring-2011-preview-black-pearl.html I wonder if Mavala has its own version of the shade.

I have my Nars replacement

Have I told you about the time, when I went to America and had my Nars body glow half full, confiscated? Well I havnt bought one since, as it was expensive. Tried many of the alternaties but they all had large gawdy glitter particules, but I just may have found a winner. Champneys Oriental Body Oil.
Firstly it smells heavenly, it does moisture your skin (I have thirsty skin),the texture seems to be the same as Nars, you have to shake it before use.It has fine gold particules that shimmer gracefull in the light, a lighter colour to the Nars but at £8rrp and for the price savy me I got it for £4.

Rewiew from Women&Home By Daniella Fox http://www.womanandhome.co.uk/articles/hairandbeauty/buyoftheday/472381/champneys-oriental-body-glistening-oil.html
Fed up of faffing around with fake tan or feeling anxious about exposing your legs this summer? If you're looking for an instant hit of colour on your pins then this super glistening dry oil is for you.

With skin nourishing jojoba, sesame and rice bran oils and a gorgeous scent to boot, skin is left feeling soft and looking seriously conditioned and shimmery, thanks to its subtle gold sheen. Just make sure you allow the oil to dry for ten or so minutes before attempting to dress.

GoodBye

Goodbye online diary, you were my source of hope, and a record of the struggles I seem to be born to keep enduring. Part inflicted by myself...
