Get Cooking!

I have started on the Atkins journey again and this time I am doing it well, 80% properly anyway. I have been making a few recipe of the site, such as Chicken Curry. However I have become bored of having Ryvita as my bread, so with the power of the internet I discovered the 24/7 low carb diner blogspot and in particular this recipe http://247lowcarbdiner.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/mr-peanut-sandwich-bread.html I decided not to make the bread as I don’t have bread tins so thought I would use muffin tins. The 1st batch came out awful too much vinegar and very flat pic 2. I decided to tweak the recipe using the same ingredients I did for a pancake. I used about one teaspoon of peanut butter to one egg and 1/3 of a teaspoon of baking powder. I left the vinegar out and added honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract. I have to say I prefer the use of peanut butter over ground almonds and this will become a breakfast favourite and staple in the battle of the bulge. Pic 1 is the winning result! Im actual enjoying doing the Atkins now.

Holy Grail

I have been collecting vintage for 11 years, in the early days I collected good quality vintage clothing for birthday, Christmas and accessories that tickled my fancy. But now I have gone back to my News Years resolution of 2010,I must get some cool vintage frames.

Outside The Oxford History Museum

Oxford 2012 Part 1

Finally my trip in October and the first long weekend away as a couple. We went Bodleian Library, so beautiful, The Museum of Astrology and TheMuseum of Natural History both free and interesting.

Presents

Boys and Girls did you get everything you wished for? Well I did apart from another ring on my finger. The flowers are a gift to my self as was the Soap and Glory products.
I got a random present from my Aunt the Barbie, unfortuntly its not a welcomed item as I have had problems with previous and current tenants who are from that country, mainly forgetting that I dont need to be kept uptil the early hours by music and telephone calls back home. So I tempted to burn it and really the costume is quite dull considering the richness of their culture.
Boots Home Diary is quite good for the lady who wishes to be more organised and hopefully richer.
A peak inside the out of print book I wanted from Waterstones.
The silver star Earrings are from Silver Scene, a gift from my Aunt who's in business with the owner. The silver hooped are from my Honey.
I also got Hollywood Costume using my Amazon vouchers which is a nice book to have but not essential if you already have the first.

V&A in Nov

So where do you take your boyfriend when you are low on funds? Why the museum of course. At the time there seemed to be quite a few fee paying dress exhibits at the V&A, which means its a bit silly to have a really good free exhibit, so why pay?

Christmas Comes Twice

I know its New Year but I havn't finished catching up in 2012! I did something I never did before I had a christmas with no family. In Novemeber me and my Partner celebrated our christmas, anticapting that work would get in the way of our celebrations. My other half lost his job so we celebrated christmas regardless. No turkey this year, lovely chicken and I worked my first Boxing Day in 12 years of working (time to change jobs).

GoodBye

Goodbye online diary, you were my source of hope, and a record of the struggles I seem to be born to keep enduring. Part inflicted by myself...
