Bake

This month Ihave finally been able to focus! My mood has always been sensitive to the weather, but the last couple of months the weather has been particular bad and so has been my mood. I have finally got some outside help, to get me to focus and care and during my month of clarity I cooked areceipe everyday. I finally cut a vintage 50s fabric to make into a full skirt. And I baked my staple Chocolate butter cake to be wheeled out at birthdays, betrays and crap interview. The Man requested his birthday cake to be heart shaped and chocolate. The cake is easy to make and very moist because of the milk, water and amount of butter it contains. The chocolate icing keeps it together, still lovely. I picked the receipe up from the website allreceipes.

The Perfect Pair

It not copying if you think its supercool. I finally scored a silvertone version of the 1955 AO Flame it has no additional flamette but the signs are good its the same size as the one I already have. Heres a picture of me wearing A O Perfect mate, I have Mary Van Notes blog to blame for my new obsession. And time is not on my side, I have plans for a new life in the Autumn and reduced pay, so vintage buying will become a luxury, well unless its furniture for the flat.

In Search of a Perfect Pair

It seems I have become obsessed with attaining 1955 American Optical Flame glasses. The lovely set I recently accquired are a little too small. But lucky would have it, etsy and eBay have a few pairs and a set is available on eBay right now! I was able to score a larger pair that, also came with interchangeable flamettes. And I also found a pair of Perfect Mate glasses minus other trims, but dont fret I shall keep up the good work. Meet my new pair. I now have 3 pairs of vintage American Optical, now what are the chances of getting them in silvertone?

Goodbye online diary, you were my source of hope, and a record of the struggles I seem to be born to keep enduring. Part inflicted by myself...
